Children Trust Michigan (the state Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Board) is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention of child abuse and neglect in Michigan. Children Trust Michigan financially and operationally supports the prevention programs across the states 83 counties. Children Trust Michigan raises public awareness disseminates information conducts public education provides training and technical assistance to the prevention programs. Children Trust Michigan must also raise all its revenue for the programs and services provided.
This position is the recognized resource and statewide lead for child abuse and neglect prevention training and technical assistance. This position is charged with review of grants monitoring and desk reviews; developing procedures creating reports to the legislature TA bulletins and other; providing training and technical assistance to local organizations and other statewide entities; developing policy and guidelines; conducting needs assessment; coordination and development of public awareness/education activities

- Required Education and Experience
Education
Possession of a bachelors degree in any major.Preferred: Possession of masters degree in human services.
Experience
Three years of professionalexperience including one year of experience equivalent to the experienced (P11) level in state service.- Additional Requirements and Information
- Certain positions may require a criminal history background check. The physical location of this position isGrand Tower Building 235 S. Grand Ave. Lansing MI. Based on operational needs and within established limits remote work and alternate or hybrid work schedule requests for this position may be considered. Selected candidates who have been approved to work remotely or a hybrid schedule must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.
Employees will be provided computers to perform state work. Phones may also be provided for necessary communications. If working remotely employees will be responsible for providing other components of a remote office at their own expense including:A secure work location that allows privacy and prevents distractions.
A high-speed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
Suitable lighting furniture and utilities.
