Smiles at Fairfax Corner is looking for a Dental Practice Supervisor in Fairfax Virginia to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.
Position Overview:
As a Dental Practice Supervisor youll utilize your team-building and communication skills to the fullest. The right candidate will be organized and have the skills necessary to multitask effectively and efficiently. Youll be a key point of contact for dental team members while acting as liaison between the office and the management. Therefore this position is especially important for ensuring messages are delivered to the office team in a timely and consistent addition to exceptional communication and organizational skills the ideal applicant will lead in a positive yet productive way. He or she must have the ability to thrive under pressure and work well with others.

- Full time: Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm and Friday 8am-2pm

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations to ensure office efficiency compliance and a high standard of patient care.
- Supervise and support patient coordinators dental assistants hygienists and treatment coordinators to maintain smooth workflows.
- Manage scheduling staffing and front-office operations to optimize productivity and patient experience.
- Support dentists and staff with treatment planning billing and insurance processes while ensuring accurate financial transactions.
- Monitor office finances including expense management invoice submission collections and receivables to maintain profitability.
- Maintain office inventory by overseeing supplies equipment and facility cleanliness for an organized and professional environment.
- Lead hiring training and staff development while addressing patient and employee concerns professionally to foster a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a dental office is required.
- Experience in insurance processes and billing is a must.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills to work independently in fast paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and practice management software.
- Strong attention to detail compliance and confidentiality in handling patient records and office operations.
