The Position:
Our client is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join their outpatient dental team. The Dental Hygienist will provide preventative dental care patient education and support comprehensive oral health services for a diverse patient population. This position works closely with dentists EFDAs dental assistants and other healthcare professionals in a collaborative team-based environment focused on improving patient outcomes and access to quality care.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced high-volume setting while maintaining compassionate patient-centered care. This provider will play an important role in promoting preventative dental health and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices.

$81000 $100000 Annual Salary (Depending on Experience)

Responsibilities:
Full-Time (Monday Friday 8:00 AM 6:00 PM)
Provide preventative dental hygiene services including cleanings periodontal charting scaling polishing fluoride treatments and oral health screenings
Educate patients on oral hygiene preventative care and treatment recommendations
Assist dentists in identifying oral health conditions and treatment needs
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation within the EMR system
See approximately 17 appointment slots per day with productivity budgeted at 14 completed visits daily
Receive 5 administrative hours per week for charting care coordination and follow-up tasks
Provide culturally competent care to a diverse patient population
Collaborate with dentists EFDAs and dental assistants to deliver efficient patient-centered care
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocol development
Build strong relationships with patients and community referral sources
Requirements:
Active and Unrestricted Ohio Dental Hygienist License
Local Anesthesia Certification Preferred (if applicable in Ohio)
CPR Certification
Comfortable treating both adult and pediatric patients
Experience working in a high-volume dental setting preferred
Excellent communication and patient education skills
