About the Role:
A dental practice in Borough Park is seeking a Dental Hygienist (RDH) to provide preventive educational and therapeutic oral care services. This role focuses on helping patients maintain optimal oral health through routine cleanings assessments and patient education in accordance with dental regulations and clinical guidelines.

The ideal candidate is compassionate detail-oriented and committed to high-quality patient care. They work well as part of a clinical team maintain strong infection control standards and communicate effectively with both patients and dentists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform oral assessments to determine patient dental needs
• Take and develop routine radiographs (X-rays)
• Perform dental cleanings prophylaxis and sealants
• Conduct periodontal charting scaling and root planing
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Document complete clinical information in patient charts
• Collaborate closely with dentists as part of a care team
• Maintain a clean and infection-free clinical environment
• Verify equipment functionality prior to patient care
• Support additional clinical responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• Active NY State Dental Hygienist license required
• Strong communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to work in a clinical team environment

Schedule:
Sundays required; flexible shifts preferred (8:00 AM3:00 PM or 2:00 PM8:00 PM)
