Job Summary
Rockline Industries a privately held manufacturer and distributor of consumer packaged goods is seeking a Demand Forecaster to play a critical role in driving supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for developing analyzing and communicating SKU-level forecasts using statistical models customer insights and cross-functional collaboration.
You will partner with Sales Marketing Customer Service and Operations to create accurate demand plans that reduce inventory improve production planning and enhance service levels.
- Develop statistical forecasts using demand planning tools and integrate market sales and customer data
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to establish a single aligned forecast across the organization
- Analyze forecast vs. actual demand identify trends and root causes and recommend corrective actions
- Monitor and investigate data inconsistencies or abnormalities and communicate impacts to stakeholders
- Maintain and update forecasting models and systems (Logility and ERP platforms)
- Generate and present forecasting reports and insights to leadership
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecast accuracy and planning processes
- Partner with internal teams to optimize customer demand planning and service outcomes

- Bachelors degree plus 1-3 years of experience in an analytical function or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in forecasting demand planning or supply chain analytics preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with Access or SQL preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems and planning functions (MRP scheduling) preferred
- Experience with Power BI or similar analytics/visualization tools preferred
- Certified Professional Forecaster (IBF) designation is a plus
- Ability to communicate insights effectively across cross-functional teams
