Delivery Truck Driver Class B

Location :6021 S. Malt Avenue Commerce CA 90040.

Compensation:Hourly: $20/hr - 24/hr

Work Week: 6 Day (M-F Saturdays As Needed)

What Youll Do

As a Class B Truck Driver at our Commerce facility N.A Trading Company you will be responsible for safely operating 26ft (or longer) box trucks to transport goods over designated routes. This is a local driver position that requires deliveries to restaurants.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal working condition. Report any maintenance issues promptly to management.

• Safely load and unload goods using proper lifting techniques ensuring that cargo is securely stowed as necessary.

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure timely completion of all required paperwork.

• Provide exceptional customer service by delivering goods punctually and addressing any customer concerns or inquiries courteously.

• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and traffic laws including compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) requirements.

• Communicate effectively with dispatchers customers and colleagues to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.

Qualifications

• Valid Class Bcommercial drivers license (CDL) with a clean driving record with no more than 4 points on your license in the last 5years and no at-fault accidents within the same period.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Class Bbox truck driver.

• Demonstrated knowledge of all local traffic laws and regulations.

• Ability to demonstrate safe driving skills.

• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

• Experience working independently and as part of a team.
