Delivery Driver

Pay rate: $25/HR D.O.E

Location: Portland and surrounding areas

Schedule: Monday - Friday (occasional weekends) 9:30 am - 6:00 pm

Local warehouse company seeking a reliable and experienced delivery driver driver is responsible for loading and unloading orders. Must have clean driving record and experience driving a 26 Box Truck. Will be traveling to multiple locations in Oregon.

Key responsibilities:

Must have valid drivers license and clean driving record
Will be home daily
Load and unload products from the delivery vehicle ensuring safe handling of items.
Drive a box truck to designated locations adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Navigate assigned routes efficiently optimizing delivery times while maintaining quality service.
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries including documentation of any issues encountered during transport.
Conduct routine inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Will be traveling to different locations

Qualifications:

Experience in route driving and familiarity with local roadways is preferred.
Ability to lift heavy items (up to 60 pounds) safely and efficiently. Sit for long periods of time stand reach bend and twist.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Experience operating 26 ft box trucks
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
