Position Overview

DES Employment Group is hiring a Route Delivery Driver for a wholesale floral client in Milan IL. You will drive a company van to transport fresh floral products to local warehouses and retail stores. This is a stable long-term will work independently to manage your route and ensure punctual deliveries. Overtime is available when working as a fill-in driver on other routes and during busy holiday periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely navigate regional routes to deliver wholesale floral supplies

• Work overtime as a fill-in driver on other routes when needed

• Maintain scheduling flexibility for holiday overtime shifts

• Load unload and organize cargo vans efficiently

• Carry inventory up and down stairs at specific delivery locations

• Document successful drops on daily production sheets

• Manage route timing independently to guarantee on-time delivery

Requirements

• Proven commercial or route delivery driving experience (food delivery does not qualify)

• Valid drivers license with a clean insurable driving history

• Ability to pass a driving quiz

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and climb stairs

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
