Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated On-Site Manager to oversee our 24-hour 5-6 day a week operation. The manager will work Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm with on-call responsibilities if the customer is operational. This role requires a hands-on approach managing a fleet of 23 tractors and drivers and 100 trailers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Manage and coordinate schedules for drivers and equipment.

• Maintain strong relationships with the customer acting as the primary point of contact for any operational issues or concerns.

• Monitor and manage the performance of drivers providing guidance and support as needed.

• Conduct minor equipment troubleshooting to help reduce maintenance expenses.

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

• Prepare and analyze operational reports to identify areas for improvement.

• Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure all vehicles are in optimal working condition.

• Handle any emergency situations that may arise including after hours.

• Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) is preferred but not required

• Previous experience in the transportation or logistics industry particularly in management or supervisory roles.

• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to perform minor equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call as needed
