OverallRequirements:

The Debug Engineer is responsible for diagnosing troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues across systems products and/or processes. This role requires strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to root cause analysis to identify and resolve failures at the component and system level. The ideal candidate thrives in a repair-focused environment collaborates effectively with technicians and quality teams and is committed to improving turnaround times repair success rates and overall product reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed debugging fault isolation and repair of telecommunications circuit boards and related equipment
• Execute component-level troubleshooting including identifying defective parts and recommending repairs or replacements
• Document failure modes root causes and repair actions for tracking and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with technicians test teams and quality to resolve recurring issues and improve repair processes
• Develop and refine troubleshooting procedures test methods and repair standards
• Identify trends in failures and recommend corrective or preventative actions
• Escalate complex or unresolved issues as needed and provide clear technical updates
• Ensure adherence to quality standards safety protocols and turnaround time targets

Education & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in engineering and/or
• 3 years of relevant experience

Additional Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
• Proficiency in relevant tools or languages (e.g. Python C/C SQL lab instrumentation test tools)
• Ability to troubleshoot down to the component level
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent documentation and technical reporting skills
• Ability to interpret schematics logs or system designs
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies quickly
• Knowledge and use of MS Office suite and data management tools considered a strong asset
• Ability to prioritize and complete work in a timely fashion; this is a fast-paced quick turnaround environment
• Ability to collaborate with peers at all levels within the organization
