A leading national law firm is seeking a Debt Finance Associate Attorneyto join its growing Dallas office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing private equity sponsors commercial banks private credit funds direct lenders and corporate borrowers in sophisticated financing transactions.

Leveraged finance transactions
Acquisition financings
Private credit and direct lending transactions
Sponsor-backed financing transactions
Senior secured and mezzanine lending facilities
Asset-based and cash flow lending transactions
Drafting and negotiating credit agreements commitment papers and collateral documents
Direct client interaction and substantive deal responsibility
Collaboration with a nationally recognized finance team

Approximately 36 years of debt finance leveraged finance banking or private credit experience
Experience representing private equity sponsors lenders borrowers commercial banks or private credit funds strongly preferred
Experience with acquisition financings leveraged buyouts recapitalizations and growth financings preferred
Strong drafting experience involving credit agreements commitment letters security agreements guaranties and intercreditor agreements
Excellent analytical communication and negotiation skills
Strong academic credentials
Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school required
Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted in Texas
