Your Leadership Belongs Here Join LLCC as our Dean of Social Sciences and Business! Lincoln Land Community College is searching for our next Dean Social Sciences and Business. The Dean will provide leadership and administrative oversight for the disciplines and programs under the Deans purview. As a staff member at LLCC you can look forward to 23 paid holidays a year including 2 weeks at the end of the calendar year and one week in March for mid-semester break; 12 Fridays off in the summer; and 5 personal days 12 sick days and 20 vacation days per year. LLCC staff their spouse and qualified dependent children are eligible to use the tuition waiver on credited courses. Staff can also enjoy free access to our on-campus fitness center. Starting salary is likely to be between $96643 and $133701 per year with an excellent benefits package. The person hired into this position will be placed within this range based on education training experience and skills. Required Qualifications
Masters degree in one or more of the disciplines taught in the department or equivalent Post-secondary teaching experience and/or relevant work experience preferably at a community college Evidence of effective working relationships with external and internal audiences Successful record of innovative education and management practices and a willingness to assume risk Evidence of an understanding and use of technology in an administrative setting Ability to provide leadership in an institution where differences are valued Demonstrated knowledge about learning college philosophies and best practices in teaching and learning Proven ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders Superior written and oral communication skills Thorough understanding of and total commitment to the community college mission Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check.
