Position Details

• Locations: Gilbert Chandler Mesa Tempe and Ahwatukee assignments matched within 20 minutes of your preferred area
• Hours: 46 hours per week Availability needed MondayFriday 8:00 AM1:00 PM
• Compensation: $20$28/hr (contract position) performance bonuses

What Were Looking For

• Experience working with students who have IEPs 504 Plans or diagnosed learning differences (e.g. dyslexia ADHD autism spectrum processing disorders)
• Background in special education or a related field preferred
• Comfort implementing accommodations and modifications and adapting instruction to individual learning profiles
• Currently enrolled in college or hold a college degree (Special Education degree or coursework a plus)
• Strong communicator who can collaborate with parents and when needed school teams
• Reliable transportation to travel to students homes
• Patient adaptable and genuinely passionate about student success
• Specialized certifications (Special Education ABA) are a plus but not required
