Dayshift Caregiver

Are you someone who genuinely enjoys helping others Visiting Angels is looking for compassionate dependable and professional Caregivers to provide one-on-one support to seniors and adults with disabilities in the comfort of their own homes.

As a caregiver you can make a meaningful difference every day while helping clients remain safe comfortable and as independent as possible.

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation
• Assist with bathing grooming dressing toileting and feeding
• Prepare meals and assist with meal planning
• Provide medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Run errands and grocery shop
• Provide transportation and accompany clients to appointments
• Assist with activities of daily living
• Document visits and care and clock ins and outs using a smartphone

• Day shifts
• Evening shifts
• Weekend shifts
• Overnight shifts

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience caring for seniors and/or adults with disabilities professionally or personally
• CNA/LNA experience or certification is a plus
• Dementia/Alzheimers experience is a plus
• Compassionate patient dependable and professional
• Must genuinely enjoy assisting others
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to reach bend kneel and stand for extended periods
• Valid drivers license
• Reliable vehicle
• Active automobile insurance required
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Comfortable using a smartphone to clock in/out and complete documentation
