Daycare Teacher (Early Childhood Educator)

La Mere Academy is a licensed childcare center dedicated to providing a safe nurturing and educational environment for infants toddlers and preschool-age children. We are seeking a passionate Daycare Teacher / Early Childhood Educator who is committed to supporting childrens cognitive social emotional and physical development.

We are hiring a Daycare Teacher to provide high-quality childcare and early childhood education in a classroom setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children implementing age-appropriate lesson plans managing classroom activities and fostering a positive learning environment.

• Provide a safe nurturing and engaging learning environment for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and educational activities.
• Support childrens social emotional language and cognitive development.
• Maintain positive classroom management and behavior guidance practices.
• Conduct daily observations and document childrens developmental progress.
• Assist with feeding diapering potty training and other daily care routines as needed.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and health and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with parents guardians and team members.
• Maintain a clean organized and stimulating classroom environment.
• Participate in staff meetings training programs and professional development opportunities.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in childcare daycare preschool or early childhood education.
• Passion for working with infants toddlers and preschool-age children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage with children throughout the day.

• Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential.
• Associates or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education Child Development or related field.
• CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Experience with preschool curriculum planning and child assessments.
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
