Job Summary
Methodist Family Health is seeking a compassionate licensed mental health professional to join our Day Treatment School Program serving elementary and middle school students (K8). This position offers an opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team while making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families facing emotional and behavioral challenges.
The Day Treatment Therapist provides assessment individual family and group therapy services within a school-based treatment environment and collaborates closely with educators families and community partners to support student success.

What Youll Do
Conduct diagnostic assessments and behavioral health evaluations.
Provide individual family group and crisis intervention services.
Develop and maintain treatment plans and clinical documentation.
Collaborate with families schools healthcare providers and community agencies.
Participate in treatment team meetings IEP meetings and school-based conferences.
Support students experiencing behavioral health crises.
Ensure compliance with Medicaid Joint Commission and other regulatory standards.
Maintain professional licensure and continuing education requirements.
Qualifications
Required
Masters degree in social work counseling psychology or related field.
Arkansas licensure in good standing (PLMSW LMSW LCSW LAC LPC LPE LPE-I or Licensed Psychologist).
Strong communication organizational and documentation skills.
Preferred
School-based behavioral health experience.
Experience working with children adolescents and families.
Experience with trauma-informed treatment approaches.
TF-CBT certification or other specialized training (EMDR Play Therapy etc.).
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
