Day Shift RN Geriatric Progressive Care Unit

3 Lacks at Trinity Health Grand Rapids Hospital is a 32bed allprivateroom acute care unit specializing in geriatric patients (65). This highacuity adaptable care environment unit manages telemetry cardiac drips highflow oxygen BiPAP and advanced therapies. Nurses care for patients with rapidly changing conditions using advanced assessment and strong clinical judgment.

3 Lacks follows a nursedirected teambased care model with RNs LPNs Nurse Externs PCAs and Virtual RNs. The hospital is a NICHE Exemplar Organization recognized for excellence in geriatric nursing and interdisciplinary collaboration.

What you will work

• Full-time

• 3 - 12 hour Day Shifts

• 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

• Every Third Weekend Rotation

Position Summary:

Registered Nurse RN works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidenced based medicine and individualized patient care. A Registered Nurse RN is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.

What Registered Nurse RN will need:

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program

• Associates Degree in Nursing required BSN preferred.

• In Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire

• Licensed in the State of Michigan

• Current BLS AHA certification

• Experience in a health care setting
