The Mill Technician is responsible for maintaining the safe efficient and continuous operation of our aggregate Mill. This position includes performing maintenance operating equipment loading bulk trucks and supporting daily production activities. The ideal candidate is punctual safety-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work in a variety of conditions and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mill equipment and systems.
Safely load bulk tank trucks and ensure accurate documentation of materials.
Operate machinery and heavy equipment including skid steers and other mobile equipment.
Use hand and power tools to complete repairs maintenance and fabrication tasks.
Assist with facility upkeep including tasks performed at elevated heights.
Work effectively in inclement weather and temperature extremes both indoors and outdoors.
Maintain a clean organized and hazard-free work environment.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to ensure smooth operations.
Support production as needed to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.

Mill Operators Desired Qualifications:
Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
Maintenance oriented with strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Not afraid of heights and able to work safely in elevated areas.
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Safety oriented with a commitment to following proper procedures.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools.
Comfortable working in inclement temperatures and weather conditions (heat cold rain snow).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
