POSITION:	Day Maintenance
LOCATION:	Eden Prairie High School
RATE OF PAY:	$34.17/hr per the 2026-2027 rate
HOURS PER DAY:	8 hours/day 5 days/week
START & ENDING TIME:	7:00am - 3:30pm
WORKING DAYS PER YEAR:	260
PAID TIME OFF:	12 paid Holidays 10 paid Vacation days 1 paid Personal day 12 paid Sick days
QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:	High school diploma or equivalent. 2 yr. post-secondary training in building trades preferred. Ability to obtain bus drivers license by end of probationary period. 1st Class C Boilers license or ability to obtain within probationary period. Ability to obtain 2nd Class B boiler license within the 16 month allowance. Three years experience in maintenance or equivalent in building service in other institutions/firms. Expertise in techniques of electrical repair carpentry and heating systems. Ability to comprehend all operating instructions blue prints and written reports. Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills. Ability to set priorities manage and supervise multiple tasks. Ability to meet the public & communicate with students BOILERS LICENSE INFORMATION: *To be considered for this position applicants must have at minimum a Special Engineers License.
TESTING REQUIRED:	All job offers from Eden Prairie Schools are conditioned upon passing a pre-employment criminal background check and ISD 272 School Board approval. Offers for these positions will also be conditioned upon passing a pre-employment physical abilities test.
