Data Workflow Engineer AI & Automation Focus

Your Role
Were looking for a Data Workflow Engineer with a strong foundation in building scalable data systems and a practical solution-oriented this role youll transform fragmented occupancy and lease analytics processes into streamlined automated workflows. You will design and implement tools that improve data quality reduce manual effort and enable more advanced analytics capabilities while also exploring how AI and automation can enhance data operations over time.
What youll do
- Design build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines to consolidate and transform occupancy lease and facilities data from multiple sources
- Develop automated validation and reconciliation frameworks to improve data quality and reduce manual effort
- Analyze current workflows identify pain points and translate them into scalable data engineering solutions
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align solutions with operational needs
- Partner with offshore teams to automate repetitive processes and improve overall efficiency
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve data issues
- Explore and apply AI/ML techniques (e.g. anomaly detection intelligent data matching) to enhance validation and insights
- Continuously improve workflows and processes to increase scalability accuracy and performance
What youll need
- 3 years of experience in data engineering or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow dbt Prefect)
- Experience working with cloud data platforms (e.g. Snowflake BigQuery Redshift Azure Synapse)
- Solid understanding of data modeling data quality and reconciliation best practices
- Proven ability to solve complex data challenges and work independently
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience with enterprise systems (e.g. lease occupancy facilities platforms) is a plus
- Foundational knowledge or interest in AI/ML concepts (e.g. anomaly detection NLP classification)
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools and technologies especially in AI and automation

Our Compensation Philosophy
Digital Realty offers its employees a highly competitive compensation package excellent benefits and an environment that recognizes and rewards your contributions. Central to our compensation philosophy is rewarding our employees for achieving the values and objectives aligned to the companys overall goals and values.
Our published pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role level and geographical location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including but not limited to job-related skills experience and relevant education and/or training. Moreover an employees total compensation package varies by role and may include salary cash bonus or commissions and equity awards not quantified below.
Compensation range: $107800 - $163350 annually. This compensation range represents the Companys good faith belief as to what it will pay as a base salary for this position at the time of this posting.
