Job Description/ Requirement:
- 8 years of experience with Teradata Database Administration
- Strong experience with Teradata Tools and Utilities (TTU)
- Experience with Teradata backup and recovery
- Experience with performance tuning and resource optimization
- Hands-on experience with ETL processes
- Experience with Teradata Viewpoint and workload management
- Experience with Teradata upgrades provisioning and software maintenance
- Knowledge of Bash Perl Python or similar scripting languages
- Experience with Unix/Linux administration
- Understanding of cloud technologies preferably Microsoft Azure
- Experience with monitoring troubleshooting and platform administration
- Knowledge of security audits disaster recovery and compliance standards such as NIST 800-53
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
