• Collect analyze and maintain trauma registry data with a high level of accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with state regional and national trauma data reporting requirements.
• Assist with quality improvement initiatives by preparing reports and identifying data trends.
• Coordinate and support trauma education programs meetings and training events.
• Track certifications continuing education and training records for trauma team members.
• Prepare educational materials maintain schedules and provide administrative support for training activities.
• Collaborate with physicians nurses EMS partners and multidisciplinary teams to support the hospitals Trauma Program.

Education:

• High School Diploma/GED

Experience:

• Two years of experience in an educational training or healthcare environment
• 6 months - 2 years of data collection experience preferred

License/Certifications:

• Completion of Trauma Registrar Course through American Trauma society within 1 year of hire
• Abbreviated Injury Scale Trauma Coding Course through Association for the Advancement of Automotive Medicine within 1 year of hire
• ICD-10 CM Trauma Injury Coding Course through American Trauma society within 1 year of hire
