As a Data Technician you will be responsible for pulling testing and terminating CAT5e/6a and or Fiber Optic cabling installing cable support structures as well as various kinds of A/V security and/or DAS devices on a commercial construction site.
Responsibilities
Be responsible for pulling testing and terminating CAT5e/6a and/or Fiber Optic cabling on an active construction site
Install various kinds of devices such as speakers projectors displays WAPs card readers
access control devices (strikes locks or crash bars) transmitters receivers and DAS equipment.
Attend mandatory safety meetings as well as maintain strict adherence to company and client safety standards.
Accurately label cabling consistent with PM or foreman instruction
Assist other team members whenever necessary to efficiently complete the installation
Adhere to company policies and established procedures
Qualifications
6-months experience as a commercial low-voltage technician
Possess a High School Diploma or GED
Have their own reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
Pass a background check and drug test
Be able to work dayshifts nights or weekends if needed
