Data Scientist

We are looking for a senior data scientist to join our team at DIA.

Work with complex data sets to solve real world problems. Support the warfighter and policy makers with decision making.

• 3 years of experience with major data science languages such as Python and R
• 3 years of experience retrieving merging and analyzing structured and unstructured data sources from APIs and databases through Python R and/or SQL
• Experience with database design and administration in DBMS such as SQL Server PostgreSQL etc.
• Experience with data analytics data mining statistical analysis or AI/ML
• Active TS/SCI clearance with a CI poly #qinetiqclearedjob
• Bachelors degree 8 YOE or 12 YOE years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree

• Experience with data visualization software such as Tableau and PowerBI
• Experience conducting data architecture and ETL for the DoD or a federal agency
• Familiarity with HUMINT
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and technologies including git Jenkins SonarQube etc.

The salary range for this role is $125000- $132000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. QinetiQ US considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
