Responsibilities:

REVENUE-IMPACT ANALYTICS INDEPENDENTLY MINE MEDIAALPHA EXCHANGE DATA TO SURFACEQUANTIFIED REVENUE- OR MARGIN-GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES DOCUMENTED IN WRITTEN ANALYSES WITH ESTIMATEDFINANCIAL UPSIDE. PRIORITIZE OPPORTUNITIES USING ROI CALCULATIONS AND PRESENT RANKED BACKLOGS FOR REVIEW TOBUSINESS AND ANALYTICS STAKEHOLDERS. END-TO-END OWNERSHIP PROVIDE WEEKLY WRITTEN STATUS UPDATESDETAILING PROGRESS BLOCKERS AND NEXT STEPS; PROACTIVELY REQUEST RESOURCES OR ESCALATE RISKS. MAINTAINEXPERT-LEVEL KNOWLEDGE OF MEDIAALPHA EXCHANGE FUNCTIONALITY DATABASE SCHEMA BIDDING LOGIC ANDPLATFORM APIS. BE A FRONTLINE RESOURCE FOR BUSINESS TEAMS TO SCOPE CLIENT SOLUTIONS. SCOPE DESIGN BUILDVALIDATE DEPLOY AND MAINTAIN DATA-SCIENCE SOLUTIONS (MODELS DECISION SYSTEMS DASHBOARDS ETL PIPELINES)WITHOUT DAY-TODAY SUPERVISORY DIRECTION. DELIVER ALL MILESTONES ON THE COMMITTED TIMELINE IN JIRA;DEADLINES AT RISK OF BEING MISSED MUST BE ACCOUNTED FOR WITH ADVANCE NOTICE WITH JUSTIFIABLE TRADEOFFS DUETO OTHER BUSINESS PRIORITIES OR UNEXPECTED ISSUES. TECHNICAL ARCHITECTURE & CODE QUALITY WRITE PRODUCTION-GRADE PYTHON AND SQL THAT PASSES PEER-REVIEW APPROVAL ON FIRST REVIEW AT LEAST 80% OF THE TIME. FREQUENT
BACK AND FORTH OR RE-DESIGNS SHOULD BE RARE (<10% OF CODE SUBMISSIONS). OWN AIRFLOW DAGS AND DATA-PIPELINE SLAS; RESOLVE ISSUES WITHIN FOUR (4) BUSINESS HOURS OF ALERT DURING CORE HOURS OR WITHIN THE SAMECALENDAR DAY DURING ON-CALL/OFF-HOURS ROTATIONS. CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION COMMUNICATION
ACCOUNTABILITY MAINTAIN PROFESSIONALISM AND PUNCTUALITY. ACT AS THE PRIMARY ANALYTICS LIAISON FOR ASSIGNEDBUSINESS UNITS INCLUDING ATTENDING AND EVEN DRIVING KPI/METRICS REVIEWS. TRANSLATE TECHNICAL FINDINGS INTOCONCISE BUSINESS RECOMMENDATIONS (DECK MEMO OR LIVE WALKTHROUGH).

Qualifications:

• THIS POSITION REQUIRES A MASTER'S DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN APPLIED MATHEMATICSSTATISTICS BUSINESS ANALYTICS OR IN A CLOSELY RELATED FIELD PLUS 8 YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE IN DATA SCIENCE ORIN A CLOSELY RELATED OCCUPATION.

Requirements:

• Three (3) years of experience in building and deploying AI models and AI tools in digital media.
• Seven (7) years of hands-on experience developing and deploying machine learning models.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and collaborating with tech engineering data scientists and product
  teams.
• Experience deploying impactful code in predictive models data pipelines algorithmsto production environments
  with quantifiable business impact.
• Knowledge in applying statistical techniques specifically designing tests/experiments and evaluating results to real-
  world business problems.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Proficient in analytical skills and ability to synthesize large and disparate data sets.
• Experience in search display performance and digital marketing or closely related.
• Proficient in R Shiny Shiny Server and Airflow.
• Experience in real-time bidding in digital media.

Salary Offered: $168000 - $222000 per year
