Job Summary

Our Data Quality and Development Coordinator will work within our broader data team to cleanse standardize and maintain large data sets for the National Voter File with a high degree of accuracy. This entry-level role is focused on executing established workflows under the guidance of senior team members. This role reports to the Data Quality and Development Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Use SQL to standardize and finalize data sets to match existing data structures
  • Identify errors in data sets and escalate findings with proposed fixes to avoid future issues
  • Update internal databases and data sets with voter data information for department company-wide and client use
  • Push voter data to various internal databases following established procedures
  • Assist in the preparation and formatting of data for downstream use by other departments
  • Perform other related tasks as requested by other departments management and leadership

Skills

  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Excellent organization time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and problem-solve effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace products

Qualifications

  • Experience using SQL
  • Bachelors degree in Political Science Statistics or related field
  • Previous technical internship or related experience preferred
  • Experience with other programming languages (Python SQL or similar) preferred
