What is this career opportunity
We are seeking an individual with attention to detail and a strong work ethic to join our Data Processing Team in our Education and Communication Bureau.
The typical duties of this position include:
Review documents forms and data to ensure it is accurate complete and valid.
Enter data into MPERAs internal database in a timely manner.
Review and approve data to ensure accuracy.
Request further information as needed to enter data.
Communicate in writing to request further information as needed.
COMPETENCIES:
Knowledge of office management procedures and administrative practices;
Must be proficient in the use of word processing excel and have experience in the operation of personal computers and databases;
Ability to communicate effectively with correct spelling and grammar;
Maintain high attention to detail;
Ability to learna variety of state retirement rules regulations and policies as they relate to accurate processing of data.
In this position you will be afforded the opportunity to telework however there will be required weekly in-office day(s) in Helena. Specific conditions will be outlined as part of the job offer and must adhere to state policy.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
The above knowledge skills and abilities are typically acquired through a High School diploma or equivalent and 1 to 3 years of experience with computer software clerical work or bookkeeping.
Other combinations of education and experience will be considered.
