Job Summary
InterDent is seeking a detail-oriented Data Processing Clerk to support administrative and operational teams by processing reviewing and maintaining accurate business information. The successful candidate will enter data into internal systems verify records identify discrepancies prepare reports and ensure information is organized and readily accessible to authorized team members.
This position may support a remote work arrangement depending on business requirements. The Data Processing Clerk will work with multiple departments and handle information carefully while maintaining accuracy confidentiality and productivity throughout daily processing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter process update and verify information in company databases and internal systems.
- Review source documents for accuracy completeness and consistency.
- Identify missing duplicate or inconsistent information and coordinate necessary corrections.
- Process administrative financial employee practice and operational records.
- Maintain accurate electronic files and supporting documentation.
- Perform routine data-quality checks and reconcile information across systems.
- Prepare spreadsheets reports and data summaries for internal teams.
- Respond to authorized requests for data retrieval and verification.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive patient employee financial and company information.
- Assist finance operations human resources and practice-support teams with data-processing tasks.
- Follow established procedures for data security document management and information retention.
- Communicate effectively with remote and onsite team members to resolve processing issues.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or additional education is a plus.
- Previous experience in data processing data entry administrative support records management or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Word Outlook and database applications.
- Ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining consistent accuracy.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment when applicable.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
