Aligned Talent Acquisition is continually seeking experienced Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Associate Attorneys for opportunities with Am Law 50 Am Law 100 Am Law 200 regional and boutique law firms throughout the Chicago market.

If you have experience advising clients on data privacy cybersecurity incident response regulatory compliance or emerging technology matters Id love to connect.

Ideal Background

37 years of data privacy cybersecurity or technology law experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

Experience advising clients on U.S. and international privacy laws including CCPA/CPRA GDPR HIPAA GLBA and other state privacy statutes

Experience counseling clients on cybersecurity incidents ransomware events data breaches and incident response

Experience drafting and negotiating privacy policies data processing agreements technology agreements SaaS agreements and vendor contracts

Experience conducting privacy due diligence in mergers and acquisitions is a plus

Experience advising on AI governance emerging technologies digital risk management and regulatory compliance is preferred

Strong drafting analytical negotiation and client counseling skills

Ability to independently manage sophisticated matters while maintaining significant client interaction

Excellent academic credentials

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

Illinois bar admission required or ability to become admitted
