  • JOB GOAL:

    To perform record-keeping tasks and manage forms/information for migrant student records and process all migrant student data and work in conjunction with all levels of school personnel of the East Valley regional consortium. Work closely with program recruiters to identify and provide services for children and their families.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. High School or HSE diploma (2 years college degree preferred)
    2. Bilingual (English/Spanish)
    3. Typing and computer skills required
    4. Must pass a background clearance.
    5. Must obtain an Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
    6. Excellent customer service skills

    TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 261 days; 12 months

    COMPENSATION: Per QCUSD salary schedule for applicable position

    BENEFITS: As per QCUSD District policy

    REPORTS TO: Director Family Resource Center

    HOURS: 40 per week Monday - Friday 8:00 - 4:00 pm

    CLASSIFICATION: Hourly Non-exempt

    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Responsibilities shall include but not be limited to the following:

    1. Input data of Migrant Education students and save information into MIS2000
    2. Input SP codes for each eligible Migrant Education student into MIS2000
    3. Filling and follow up with general and confidential documentation for the Migrant Education Program
    4. Assist with interpretation of child/family eligibility and programmatic issues
    5. Maintain up to date family records family needs assessments referrals and follow ups
    6. Type monthly reports for staff and program Director
    7. Facilitates the enrollment process for children and work closely with other staff to assess program enrollment compliance
    8. Maintain up to date Migrant Education program student mailing lists and telephone numbers
    9. Maintain calendars for State Department of Education reports
    10. Maintain records of attendance assessments results and other student information for the Migrant Education Program
    11. Keep activity log updated (required by ADE-MEP)
    12. Attend to Migrant Education Staff development workshops
    13. Implement and maintain other general practices and procedures
    14. Attend staff development in services and meetings
    15. Run biweekly reports from the MIS2000
    16. Must be able to lift 50lbs
    17. Perform other job-related duties as assigned to advance district priorities.
