Job Summary

Koniag Professional Services LLC a Koniag Government Services company is seeking a Data Management Specialist to support KPS and our government customer in Atlanta GA. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity. This is an ONSITE position required to be performed at one of the Regional Office locations (Philadelphia Atlanta Dallas Denver Kansas City or Washington DC) with telework available upon and inefficienciesEnsure compliance with federal records management regulations andmaintainofficial recordsin accordance withfederal standardsAssistin reporting quarterly performance metrics to federal stakeholdersProvide technical support for data management tools and platforms to federal staff and regional officesCoordinate with Data Analysts Data Engineers and other technical team members on data projectsSupport ad hoc data projects as assigned by managementParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives for operational systems and processesDeliver training and guidance to end users on data management tools and best practicesComplete annual mandatory federal training requirementsMaintain strict confidentiality of sensitive informationTravel within and outside the Region to conduct site visits attend meetings conferences and training asrequiredPosition Requirements:Education:Bachelors degree ininformationmanagementlibraryscience orarelated field from an accredited university or collegeRequired Experience:Minimum of3years of relevant post-baccalaureate professional experiencedirectly relatedto data management tasksExperience with data quality assurance and validation methodologiesKnowledge of data governance principles and practical applicationsExperience with document management systemsMetadata management experienceU.S. citizenship or legal
