About the Role:
Client is seeking a strategic hands-on Data Management Manager to lead a high-performing team of 40 50 data professionals responsible for enterprise data platforms governance modernisation and operational excellence. This role will oversee legacy enterprise data environments while driving the migration toward modern cloud-native Data Lake and Lakehouse architectures.

Reporting to the Director of the Data Tower the successful candidate will provide technical leadership people management data governance oversight and enterprise transformation leadership while partnering with architecture engineering and business teams across the organization.

Required:

• 8 years of Data Management Data Engineering or Data Operations experience
• 5 years leading large technical teams (20 professionals preferably 40)
• Strong people leadership and organizational management skills
• Enterprise Data Platform experience (SQL Server Oracle Teradata)
• Data Lake and Lakehouse Architecture experience
• Enterprise Data Modernization and Migration experience
• ETL/ELT design and implementation experience
• Data Modeling and Distributed Data Systems expertise
• Cloud platform experience (Azure AWS or GCP)
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Strategic planning and enterprise program leadership experience
