Job Summary
Analytica is seeking a Data Governance Consultant to support one or more dynamic long-term federal government enterprise data programs. The ideal candidate willserve as the technicalleadthearchitecture and implementation ofcloudand hybridbig data solutionsfor large federal enterprises looking to modernize their data operations.

This is a hybrid role with a requirement of one on-site day per week.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Participate inthe design implementation and continuous improvement of enterprise data governance programsensuring data is discoverable trusted secure and compliant with federal standards
Define and enforce data governance policiesincluding data ownership stewardship classification retention and lifecycle management
Establish andmaintaindata standards for metadata data modeling (conceptual logical physical) naming conventions lineage and data quality metrics
Oversee the development and adoption of enterprise metadata managementdata catalogs and business glossaries to support transparency and reuse
Partner with business analytics and engineering stakeholders to translate regulatory and mission requirements into governed data architectures
Assess source system data quality define remediation strategies and implement data quality monitoring and controls
Supportthedesign and governingofmaster and reference data management (MDM/RDM) strategies aligned to enterprise and mission needs
Supportalignment withdata security privacy and access control requirementsincluding role-based access and attribute-based controls
Develop andreviewdata architecture deliverables to ensure compliance with governance standards and federal best practices
Produce andmaintainhigh-quality governance artifacts including data dictionaries lineage diagramsglossaries governance playbooks and compliance documentation
Serve as a subject matter expert on data governance and architecture in support of federal proposals and solution design efforts
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or a related field
4 years of experience designing and governing enterprise data platformsin complex environments
3 years of experience implementing data governance metadata management or data quality frameworks
Solidknowledge of the end-to-end data and analytics lifecycleincluding governance engineering quality and consumption
Hands-on experience building cloud production data solutionsleveragingcloud solutions
2years of hands-onexperience implementingCollibra
Certification onCollibradata governance platformstronglypreferred
Experience withothergovernance tooling such as AlationMicrosoft Purview Databricks Unity Catalogor similar platformsstrongly preferred
Understanding of federal data governance security and compliance requirements
Experience leading or supportingon-premisesto cloud data migrations with governance embedded by design

- Mustbe located inthe Washington DC / Maryland / Northern Virginia metro region
