Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to accurately enter update maintain and verify information across company databases and systems. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail excellent keyboarding and computer skills and the ability to handle repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Enter and update information accurately into databases spreadsheets and business systems.

Review source documents and verify data for completeness and accuracy.

Identify and correct data entry errors and inconsistencies.

Perform routine data validation and quality-control checks.

Maintain accurate electronic records and files.

Organize and manage digital documents and records.

Process forms invoices reports customer information and other business documentation.

Retrieve and update information as requested by internal teams.

Follow established data-entry procedures security requirements and confidentiality standards.

Reconcile discrepancies between source documents and system records.

Assist with data cleanup migration and database maintenance projects.

Generate basic reports and spreadsheets as required.

Meet established productivity accuracy and turnaround-time standards.

Communicate data discrepancies or missing information to appropriate team members.

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and customer information.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

13 years of data entry administrative clerical or related experience preferred.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Word and common office software.

Strong typing and keyboarding skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to handle repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with CRM ERP or database systems.

Experience with document management systems.

Experience processing high volumes of data.

Familiarity with data validation and quality-control procedures.

Experience with accounting healthcare logistics financial or customer records depending on the business.

Familiarity with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.

Compensation

Annual Base Salary: $40000$65000

For experienced Data Entry Specialists handling higher-volume specialized or sensitive data:

Compensation may vary based on experience location industry workload and technical requirements.
