Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of a growing manufacturing company. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a structured task-driven environment and takes pride in accuracy and organization. The position will focus heavily on data entry and administrative support with possible opportunities for growth into a broader administrative role.
Working closely with management you will help ensure documents purchasing records accounting information and ERP data are accurate and organized to support efficient business operations. Training will be provided on company-specific systems and processes.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain documentation & filing systems
- Handle purchase orders & communication with vendors
- Process & monitor accounts payable invoices
- Identify and report pricing or cost discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records within the companys ERP system
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable performing data entry and working with computer systems
- Dependable with a strong work ethic & good time management skills
- Willingness to learn new systems and processes
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree with relevant administrative or accounting experience
- Accounting coursework or bookkeeping experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Ability to read basic engineering drawings or technical documentation
