Data Engineer with DB2
New York NY- Hybrid
12 months contract

DB2 database expertise and DB2 development experience not a DB2 maintenance person (8 years)
Ability to think through issues like a DBA
Deep experience in SQL performance tuning experience on DB2 (6 years)
Understanding developing and refactoring stored procedures on DB2 to DB2 SQL (6 years)
Identifying stored procedures that can be extracted and programmed in Scala or a similar programming language (4 years)
Exposure and hands-on understanding of Snowflake warehouses and Snowflake SQL tuning (2 years)
Scala development to re-write existing Stored Procedures in Scala (4 years)
