Data Center Technician –HVAC- Night Shift

The Facilities Technician (HVAC) supports senior Critical Facilities staff by performing preventive maintenance and routine monitoring of HVAC and building systems supporting a raised floor missioncritical data center environment.

Shift: Nights 7:00pm-7:00am

Assist the Critical Facility Technician with testing and making rounds
Ensure strict adherence to critical facility work rule and safety procedures
Communicate and adhere to applicable Federal State and local rules codes and regulations
Operate standard office equipment using basic computer skills
Utilize Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook for daily communication and reports
Perform physical counts of inventory on job sites and at facilities
Ensure inventory is stored properly for inventory type (ex: sensitive electronics are temperature controlled)
Assist with the daily/weekly/monthly walk-through of customer facilities in support of data center(s) and office operations
Perform preventive maintenance on all building equipment
Assist with scheduling of preventative maintenance contracted maintenance and general maintenance with minimal disruption of building services
Respond quickly to emergency situations and customer concerns
Ensure Critical Facilities Technician Contract Manager and/or Customer receive timely verbal and written operating reports regarding critical systems and ongoing preventative maintenance
Escort subcontractors as required

Must be 18 years of age or older
Must possess a valid unexpired drivers license
Must possess journeyman HVAC license in the state county or city jurisdiction in which work will be performed
Three (3) years prior experience required as an HVAC technician

Preferred Qualifications:

Five (5) years experience as HVAC technician in commercial setting is preferred.
