Data Center Technician:

The Technician will be responsible for performing structured cabling installations and server rack deployments in a data center environment. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail the ability to follow instructions and a strong work ethic. Technical training will be provided on the job; prior experience is not required. The ideal candidate will be reliable safety-conscious and able to work both independently and as part of a team under the direction of on-site Salute Leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Install route and secure structured cabling according to project specifications
• Assistwith server rack deployments and related hardware setup
• Follow safety protocols andcompany procedures at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Complete tasks assigned by the Team Lead ina timelyandaccuratemanner
• Support quality assurance efforts by adhering to installation standards
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members and supervisors
• Ability to follow precise instructions
• Perform material movement including shipping/receiving and inventory management per standard process
• Perform Data Center pre-cabling to industry standards
• Detailed physical inventory tracking and staging
• Timely responsiveness via MS Outlook MS Teams text and/or phone

Requirements:

• Knowledge of how to properlyutilizepower tools isrequired
• Ability to read and understand cabling maps
• Ability to work at different heights in confined spaces and on different surfaces
• Ability to use mobile application technology
• Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and Teams. Gainproficiencyin workplace IT systems for reporting timecards expense entry and the execution of project tasks. ExamplesSalesForce ADP Expensify)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment up to 40lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders and multiple flights of stairs to access elevated equipment
• Ability to stand forlong periodsof time in various work environments
• Ability to bend stoop kneel and reach for equipment related tasks
• Basic physical fitness to respond quickly to emergency situations and navigate areas quickly
• Ability to move quickly and efficiently withing various work environments to troubleshoot issues or respond to emergencies.
• Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity for working with small components and connectors
• Clear vision with or without correction to perform tasks requiring attention to detail and precision while wearing safety glasses
• Ability to differentiate between color-coded warning signs labels and cables
• Ability to work in environments with a wide variety temperature inside a facility
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions including extreme temperatures rain or snow
• Capability to work in environments with elevated noise levels while wearing hearing protection
• Possession of a valid drivers license for work-related travel asrequired

Travel:

This role offers required travel within the Phoenix Metropolitan Area to various Data Center locations.

Compensation & Benefits Disclosure
The hourly rate for this role is $28 per hour.This range reflects a good faith estimate of what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire based on factors such as skills experience education and market/location. Our comprehensive benefits include health dental and vision insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) gym discount mental health Discounted Group Life & AD&D Discounted Group Short & Long-term Disability 401(k) retirement matching PTO/paid holidays and parental leave.This posted hourly rate is the final rate of pay for the position based on jobrelated factors consistent with applicable law.
