The Data Center Superintendent is responsible for providing leadership and direction for day-to-day field operations of the assigned projects direct and ensure field execution plan the company way to maximize overall business objectives and ensure maximum profitability.
Maintains a safe and secure work environment through maintaining safety meetings incident investigations and employee involvement.
Provides key leadership direction for field operations on a project to ensure a cohesive team in conjunction with project management.
Coordinates and supervises all construction activities for assigned areas.
Manages field personnel priorities relating to technical ability and staffing levels to gain greater efficiencies to improve customer satisfaction and reduce cost.
Responsible for coordinating all site construction activities and supervising all field personnel as required to successfully completing the project on schedule and within budget. This includes maintaining the highest quality supervising all trade and field personnel while administering good construction safety practices with all on-site activities.
Performing material take-offs order tools material and equipment.
Coordinating of installation between trades and coordinating subcontractor progress.
Ensuring all on-site employee comply with OSHA standards and company work rules.
Coordinates material deliveries for the team with the No Material on the Floor plan with the expediting team.
Ensures compliance with Customers quality program.
Ensure the quality of work to corporate standards and project requirements.
Conducts Staff Meetings Foreman and field personnel addressing management issues as well as safety and productivity improvements.
Responsible for projects financial labor material and other cost type budgets and goals.
Works with the BIM department to coordinate fabrication breaks and signs off on fabrication documents for production.
Maintains company culture team driven mentality.
Implements FIELD Productivity Improvements assure project compliance and quality assurance.
Maintains Customer Satisfaction.
Works a six day week ten hour per day shift.
Required Education Experience and Qualifications
5 years verifiable experience as a Plumbing/ HVAC Superintendent
At least 5 years of experience in LARGE ($20M) Data Center projects.
Must have OSHA 30 card.
Effective computer skills with programs such as excel word email and Procore along with verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
Versed in the industry and the Companys competitors.
Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.
