Summary
DSV isseekingan experienced and motivated Inventory Team Lead to join ourlogisticsteam. The ideal candidate willbe responsible foroverseeing the inventory control processes and ensuringaccurateinventory counts and tracking of goods in our warehouse.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead a team of inventory associates to perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
Develop and implement inventory control procedures and processes
Receive and inspect incoming shipments of goods
Enter data into inventory management system accurately andin a timely manner
Maintain organized and clean inventory storage areas
Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols
Prepare regular inventory reports for management
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Educational background / Work experience
Associate or Bachelorsdegree in a relevant field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management warehousing or related field
Proven experience in leading and managing a team
Familiarity with inventory management systems and software
Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership and team management skills
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of warehouse operations andlogistics
Ability tooperatea forklift and other material handling equipment
Function / Market & Industry Knowledge / Business Acumen / Processes
Supervisory Responsibilities (if any)
Supervise a team of inventory associates.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cycle counting or other inventory control methods
Familiarity with quality control procedures
Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel and other inventory management software
Experience working in a regulated environment such as food or pharmaceuticals
Language skills
Fluent in English (oral and written)
Computer Literacy
Strong computer skills
