What You Will Do:
- Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business problems data needs and analytics opportunities.
- Translate business questions into data-driven analyses dashboards reports and actionable insights.
- Assist in developing and maintaining data pipelines
- Perform data quality checks (validation reconciliation basic monitoring) and help troubleshoot data issues
- Collect clean validate and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends patterns and key drivers.
- Develop and present clear recommendations visualizations and storytelling that support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver analytics solutions that improve business performance.
- Support the development and maintenance of repeatable reporting processes data models and analytical tools.
- Help identify opportunities to improve data quality process efficiency and analytical capabilities.
- Stay current on emerging data analytics and visualization methods to bring innovative ideas to the team.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university.
- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD PUBLIC TRUST.
- Based on our contractual obligations candidate must be located within the United States and US Citizen.
- Minimum 1.5 years (18 months) of experience in data analysis business intelligence or a related analytical role. (6 months of internship or work thru college may be utilized as part of the 1.5 years).
- Strong proficiency with Python or other programming language.
- Experience with relational databases such as SQL.
- Experience with CoPilot ChatGPT and/or Claude to support faster coding or analysis.
- Ability to gather requirements analyze complex information and communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with large or complex datasets and turning data into meaningful business recommendations.
- Strong problem-solving critical thinking and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present findings and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
- This is a hybrid role with requirement to go into one of the listed GH offices candidate must be within a commutable distance to one of the offices listed.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Consulting experience supporting external clients or multiple business functions.
- Experience with data preparation automation or process improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms data governance or data quality practices.
- Masters degree in a relevant field.
- Experience and/or interest in energy and utilities
