Job Summary
Position Summary
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepares Reviews and analyzes data to identify and resolve inconsistencies and ensure admissions enrollment and student success data is accurate and meets requirements.
- Coordinates recurring data files reports documentation and information flows to support IR reporting needs.
- Compiles information from internal and external data sources to support data-informed decisions.
- Maintains ongoing proficiency in admissions/enrollment/student success data reporting cycles data governance FERPA-sensitive data handling and reproducible dataset preparation.
- Assists with annual or regular reporting requirements.
- Works collaboratively across university areas on institutional research projects.
Minimum Requirements
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree in Business Communications Math Liberal Arts or related field; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in administrative record-keeping and ability to understand apply and interpret federal state institutional regulations; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Campus Solutions and the Student Information System.
- Ability to use data retrieval and manipulation tools such as Stata SQL and/or Python and data visualization tools such as Tableau.
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of GIS and text analysis methods.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent work organization skills with the ability to attend to detail and flexibly manage multiple activities in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Prior experience with program management and project management.
