Mountain Projects is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Administrator to oversee the accuracy integrity and security of organizational data. The Data Administrator will maintain databases ensure data quality generate reports and support staff by providing reliable information that helps improve program operations and decision-making. The ideal candidate is analytical dependable and committed to maintaining confidentiality while supporting Mountain Projects mission of serving the community. Key Responsibilities
Maintain update and manage organizational databases and electronic record systems.
Review verify and audit data to ensure accuracy completeness and consistency.
Perform regular data entry data validation and quality assurance checks.
Generate reports dashboards and data summaries for management and program staff.
Monitor database performance and identify opportunities to improve data management processes.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and organizational confidentiality policies.
Assist with importing exporting and organizing large datasets.
Support staff with data retrieval reporting requests and troubleshooting database issues.
Develop and maintain documentation for data management procedures and best practices.
Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Back up data and assist with records retention and archiving processes.
Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associates or bachelors degree in Information Technology Business Administration Data Management or a related field preferred.
Previous experience in data administration database management data entry or administrative support preferred.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel Word and Outlook.
Experience working with databases spreadsheets and data management systems.
Excellent analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with database management systems case management software or customer relationship management (CRM) platforms.
Knowledge of data governance records management and reporting procedures.
Experience working in a nonprofit community services or human services environment.
Familiarity with data security and confidentiality requirements.
