Join Pinnacle Dance Company a vibrant and inclusive dance studio in the heart of Kansas City KS as a Dance Instructor. We are dedicated to fostering creativity confidence and community through dance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire dancers of all ages and backgrounds in a supportive environment while delivering high-quality instruction and performance opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach weekly dance classes in various styles including ballet jazz hip-hop lyrical contemporary tap or acro.
• Plan and deliver engaging age-appropriate choreography and technique instruction.
• Provide constructive feedback while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Prepare students for seasonal recitals.
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to support studio events and activities.
• Maintain a professional and punctual presence in all classes and studio interactions.
• Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress attendance and studio updates.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 years of teaching experience in a studio school or performance setting.
• Strong background in at least one core dance style; multi-style proficiency preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse age groups from young children to teens.
• Positive attitude strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Comfortable teaching both in-person and via virtual platforms if needed.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus but not required.
