The Electrical Journeyperson is responsible for installing maintaining and repairing various electrical components including wiring panels light fixtures generators solar arrays etc.

Essential Traits for Success:

Perform general labor and clean-up as requested or as needed.
Assemble install test and maintain warm air systems including air conditioning refrigeration etc.
Diagnose troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems apparatus and components using test equipment and hand tools measuring devices etc.
Inspect heating & cooling systems equipment and components to identify hazards defects and the need for repair to ensure compatibility and safety.
Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment measuring devices aerial lifts drills and hand tools.
Work from ladders scaffolds and roofs to install maintain HVAC systems piping or other related equipment.
Pull pipe or tubing inside designated partitions walls or other concealed or open areas large tools and be very comfortable working with your hands.
Receive and properly store job site materials for effective job site coordination.

Heating / Cooling Journeypersons Qualifications & Skills:

Strong organizational skills attention to detail and able to consistently follow written processes and procedures.
Excellent mathematical skills are preferred.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Ability to stand lift maneuver weights that may exceed 50lbs.
Strong verbal communication skills

Education Licensing & Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Active CT Limited Warm Air Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Journeyperson (D2) License
Current OSHA 10 Certification is preferred.
Active Drivers License with reliable transportation.
