Position Overview:
The Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining an accurate cycle count inventory of all parts in accordance with the schedule by following established written and verbal procedures and work instructions. Routinely interface with administrative staff and hourly employees plus gather data and collaborate with other departments to accomplish daily tasks. The Cycle Counter is directly responsible for the quality and quantity of the tasks performed including proper maintenance of all tools supplies and equipment utilized in the department

Essential Functions:
- Understand material flow within the facility and Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Access cycle counting reports and databases plus read and interpret reports
- Locate and identify parts/assemblies and perform daily cycle count activities
- Maintain cycle count reports and update cycle count database as needed
- Verify Bill of Materials (BOMs) and department material routings as needed
- Operate a forklift and pallet jack as needed
- Identify and provide the root cause analysis of processes
- If applicable assist with training new Cycle Counters
- Perform all other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic MS Excel MS Word knowledge; ability to train on PIMS (software used in Plant to locate parts description etc.); ability to use a calculator
- Strong verbal written and communication skills; comprehend documentation that identifies quantities and location
- Demonstrated ability to work independently take initiative and perform effectively with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize daily tasks and ensure all responsibilities are completed accurately and on time
The performance of this position normally requires exposure to a typical manufacturing area under certain conditions that require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses with side shields safety shoes and hearing protection.
Physical Requirements:
Required to walk up and down stairways
Material handling with moderate lifting (minimum of 25 pounds)
Ability to operate all required equipment including but not limited to digital counting scales floor scales SMT part counter machines pallet jack single person lift.
Pay Range: $23.00 - $27.54
The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills relevant experience business needs and geographic location.
