Cybersecurity Specialist

You will work closely with our IT team to implement and maintain security measures as well as monitor and respond to any potential security breaches.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement security policies procedures and controls to ensure the confidentiality integrity and availability of our information and systems.

Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and make recommendations for improvements.

Monitor network traffic and system logs for any suspicious activity and take appropriate action to mitigate potential threats.

Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity trends and best practices to proactively identify and address potential risks.

Work closely with our IT team to implement and maintain security measures such as firewalls intrusion detection systems and encryption tools.

Respond to and investigate any security incidents and develop and implement remediation plans.

Conduct employee training and awareness programs to educate staff on cybersecurity best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity preferably in the healthcare industry.

Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles technologies and best practices.

Experience with security tools such as firewalls intrusion detection systems and encryption tools.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Relevant certifications such as CISSP CISM or CISA are a plus.
