Cybersecurity SOC Analyst

Sentinel is looking for a motivated and curious individual to join our Cybersecurity team. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to build hands-on experience with enterprise cybersecurity solutions in a highly collaborative Security Operations Center (SOC) this position you will apply your knowledge in a real-world setting helping to monitor analyze and respond to security events.

Youll work closely with cross-functional teams including networking systems and support teams to strengthen and maintain the organizations security posture. This is a full-time 3^rd shift position based onsite at our office in Downers Grove IL. The hours for this role are 11:00pm CST - 09:30am CST Saturday Sunday Monday Tuesday.

• Bachelors degree in Information Security Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience/certifications
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security ITIL or similar are a plus
• Experience with assisting in developing and delivering monthly security awareness communications and training
• Experience in monitoring and analyzing alerts from SIEM EDR and related systems to identify potential threats
• Assist with triage and escalation of security events
• Exposure to ticketing systems and basic case management workflows
• Participate in incident response activities including documentation evidence gathering and reporting
• Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation as needed to support incident response and critical security events.
• The candidate must have a car as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
• A valid drivers license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Must demonstrate a can-do attitude
