What You Will Do:

• Leads cybersecurity strategy and implementation including risk management framework processes control implementation and documentation.

• Embeds security practices across systems and workflows providing guidance on secure design data protection and access controls.

• Ensures compliance with federal security standards and facilitates audits assessments and remediation activities.

• Oversees incident response planning investigation and resolution and promotes organization-wide security awareness.

• Advises leadership on risk posture and mitigation strategies balancing security requirements with operational needs.

What You Will Need:

• Bachelors degree in cybersecurity IT or related field

• Eight 8 years securing federal systems

• Expertise in federal security frameworks (e.g. NIST) vulnerability management and system security

• Strong risk assessment and communication skills.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD public trust; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their public trust prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an active public trust or suitability are preferred

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Masters degree

• Industry certifications (e.g. CISSP CISM); experience in data-intensive or research-focused environments.

• Prior NIH experience
