Job Summary
Required Qualifications for the Cybersecurity Project Manager
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
- 7 years of project management experience with at least 5 years supporting cybersecurity information security or IT risk initiatives.
- Proven experience managing enterprise-wide PCI DSS compliance implementation projects not limited to annual audits or assessments.
- Experience working in banking/financial services.
- Strong working knowledge of PCI DSS standards controls and compliance frameworks.
- Experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives involving technical teams business stakeholders PMOs and third-party vendors.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and frameworks including NIST cloud technologies IAM vulnerability management and risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership technical teams and business partners.
- Experience managing project financials including budgeting forecasting and reporting preferred.
- PMP CSM CAPM CSPM CISSP-Associate or equivalent certification preferred.
Responsibilities of the Cybersecurity Project Manager
- Lead and oversee PCI DSS compliance initiatives from planning through execution and delivery.
- Partner with the Enterprise PMO IT PMO Information Security Governance and Lines of Business to coordinate enterprise PCI efforts.
- Provide PCI DSS subject matter expertise guidance and coaching to project teams and stakeholders.
- Manage project timelines deliverables risks dependencies reporting and governance activities.
- Coordinate and oversee internal resources technical leads SMEs business partners and third-party vendors involved in project execution.
- Track project financials support forecasting activities and ensure successful delivery within established budget and timeline constraints.
